Semi-biographical
film about playwright J. M. Barrie and his relationship with a family who
inspired him to create Peter Pan.
The action takes
place in the beginning of the XX century. James Barry is playwright, screenwriter,
all the elite gathered at his premiere. His close friend is his sponsor. For
this once piece was a flop and critics didn’t scorn to take an opportunity.
He and his wife
create the illusion of prosperity, but actually everything is so bad that James
sleeps with the dog. They don’t have common children and understanding too. One
day, in the Park, he meets Silvia Davis with four sons.
Each subsequent
day they will be together, playing and having fun together with their children,
James will draw inspiration for writing the play. So many beautiful moments
they will survive together, through faith in magic.
Long-awaited day
of the premiere «Peter pan» began. Silvia with children were meant to be there,
but because of the attacks, there will only Peter, at the insistence of Sylvia.
The next morning James Barry will come to them and put severely curtailed play.
After Sylvia sees the Neverland, she will die. At the funeral, the mother of
Silvia will notify him that he and she are the legal guardians of orphaned
children.
In life you never
